For those of you who do not have an anti-spyware software installed in your computer, there’s a very high chance that, if you are a frequent Internet user, your computer may have a chance of being infected by Spywares, Adwares and Malwares.
In this article, I’m going to cover how you can tell that your computer has been infected with these malicious programs – If you start experiencing the following when you are using your computer, then it is very likely that your computer has been infected with Spywares, Adwares or Malwares:
1. I Keep Getting Pop-Up Advertisements
If you are getting lots of pop-up advertisements (advertisements you’ll see are adult advertisements, or websites with objectionable contents) the moment you log onto your computer, then chances are that your computer has been infected.
2. My Settings Have Been Changed & I Can’t Change Them Back
If you notice that settings such as your default home page in your Internet Browser has been changed (usually to some search pages), and you can’t change it back, it is very likely that your computer has been infected with some spywares, adwares or malwares.
3. My Internet Browser Contains Additional Toolbars That I Did Not Install
If you see toolbars in your Internet browsers that you did not remember installing, chances are your computer has been infected with spywares, adwares or malwares – these malicious programs have the ability to install toolbars onto your Internet browser without your consent and knowledge.
4. My Computer Becomes Very Slow
If you realize that your computer becomes very slow – such as, when you try running an application, it suddenly takes an exceptionally long time to load, or your Internet connection speed suddenly becomes very slow, then there’s a great chance that your computer has already been infected with these malicious spywares, adwares and malwares.
The best way to stop any Spywares, Adwares and Malwares from infecting your computer, is to install an anti-spyware software.
These softwares will help prevent these malicious programs from entering your computer in the first place. And, should they somehow manages to find their way in, they’ll get detected and deleted immediately before they can cause any harm to your computer.
